According to TSN Hockey reporter Ryan Rishaug, the Edmonton Oilers will meet with unrestricted free-agent defenceman Mark Fayne on Thursday. Rishaug also mentions that six or seven other teams are interested in the shut-down defenceman and likely wants a four to five year deal. As of right now, the Toronto Maple Leafs are not among the teams set to meet with the Fayne camp. The 27-year-old is coming off a two-year contract that had an average annual value of $1.3 million.
